believe it or not I have been seriously contemplating starting a podcast. So far it is just myself and the most annoying cat you will ever meet...Smitty Lacklyricstein. The concetration will focus on mostly independent hip hop - a very beautiful thing - and the occasional super hot major label shit. We may delve into originals and hot topics like what will Paris Hilton wear tonight....woohoo!! Just kidding, dish will not be on the menu; strictly great music.

Shmello and Welcome.

To those unfamiliar, Braggin' Rites has been around for about 9 years. The show started in 1997 and was a huge hit in the NYC hip hop underground scene. It's existance inspired many others to do the same; reintroduce the art of battle to hip hop. The show started as an emcee battle but soon grew to incorporate break and deejay battles as well. It has been a couple of years since the crew went on hiatus, but there have been talks of a reemergence from it's slumber. Through this blog I hope to regularly update all who are interested in what is upcoming. Please feel free to leave any comments of your own.
