Episode 3 - for your consumption

Episode 3 is up and running. I am really enjoying the process of creating the shows for you. The only thing lacking is feedback. Comments with your thoughts on the show would be the highlight of all the work put into it. Anyway, I see that we have been consistently reaching about 4k people a week. That is a good start. Let's try to get that # up. If you truly enjoy the show, spread the word. We would be very appreciative. Anyway, once again, anjoy.

Here is a breakdown of the songs in the show...

Re: New Design

Well I was told that the graf style print was super wack. Which is cool. Fortunately the person that gave me that opinion was nice enough to see what he could do about getting me another option. Peace to I.T.

I pretty much decided by the time I had finished the post but basically we will stick to a modified version of the original logo. To me it actually looks the most logo-ish. We did use that design for about 5 years of live shows, so it hopefully has retained some of it's visual recognition.

But...I still would like some feedback. Input is a beautiful thing.

New Design

We have changed our logo quite a few times already. Although I do not typically get a lot of comments, I was hoping that maybe I can get some opinions this time around. We started with this design, which was created by my friend, Fritz when we first started the show. This is actually a more cleaned up version of the original.

The second design was based on Fritz' idea to simplify it by using a graf type print, but updated as well.

This is what I just designed the other day. I like it a lot, although I think it might be a little too complicated for a logo I do like it a lot and will find some way to use it. Whatever the case the final piece will not include the print at the bottom.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to share your opinion. Please choose one, or even let me know if all of them are horrible...whatever you think is appreciated.

Exposure

I just recently started a myspace account. The address is /bragginrites. The posts I put up there will be the same as here, however there will potentially be more content as it does allow for it. I am trying to use as many options as I know of to spread the word. If I am missing anything, let me know. What are some other good ways to get the word out?

Episode 2: Attack of the Poems

Listen peoples. I hope you all enjoyed Episode 1, at least enough to want to get Episode 2. We work hard on these joints so I truly hope you appreciate it. If there are any points you'd like to express, please feel free. Again you can directly download the audio file here. Or use the RSS Feed. For those of you that do not have an RSS client, may I suggest Juice. I hope you enjoy the show and please feel free to leave me feedback.

I have also been able to update the site enough so that there are no dead links any longer. I still have a lot of info that I need to acquire before I can complete it, but I hope you take the time to click through what we have up so far.

A Little Update

I am really trying this time, I swear. I have so far since I put up the new site added a couple of things; the most important being the podcast. Today I added a small amount of content to the emcee page. Nothing crazy, but I did the layout for every past emcee winner. Now a couple of them I also filled in their info but most just have the name. More will be coming very soon. Pictures for each emcee and audio will hopefully soon follow. Prior to individually filling out the emcee info, I will be adding the same layouts for deejays and breakers. Once those elements are in place, I will then begin to complete the pages one by one. For the moment I just want to eliminate any dead links.

Let me know how ass you think the site is. It has it's flaws, but I am happy with it...for the moment.

Episode 1

Yes indeed ladies and gentlemen....the first show has been successfully recorded. All I have to do now is add it to the site. I am working on some hosting issues right now but anticipate the podcast section of the site being fully functional within the next few days. The show is Braggin' Rites Radio and again stars me, EYEsee and kNiX tha Ruler. Some funny jokes, some real corny jokes, but overall an enjoyable show with really hot music. I also have a super hot Black Thought freestyle from one of my old cassette tapes. You heard right, I said cassette. I went back into the archives to make this first how special. I will let you all know when it finally goes up.
Also, in case I did not tell you people out there, I also have a personal blog here. Check it out. - EYEZ
